Kaja Gjedebo is the name of the designer of this hand-finished piece of jewelry from Norway/Oslo. Designer Kaja Gjedebo fell in love with the art of jewelry while training as a furniture designer at Edinburgh College of Art. Unlike furniture design, the creation of jewelry is not about issues such as comfort, but purely about how the jewelry looks on the body. When designing jewelry, she focuses on finding basic shapes that can be reproduced but also dismantled and reassembled to create small sculptures for the body. Her passion is to create works of art that emphasize the beauty and personality of the wearer. “I am inspired by my morning walks in the forest on my doorstep, the architecture and the urban details.
